So turns out my (ex)boyfriend is a liar and a cheater! Woo! Two years resumed in a two minute breakup: "Fuck you. I never want to fucking speak to you again". And the only thing I got outta him? "Ok."

Boys suck. :(

Makes Me Hot

Woo! New M.I.A. always makes me happy. She finally updated her Website and her Myspace. It's her new video and (I'm guessing) single, Bird Flu off her upcoming album "Power Power". It's hot hot hot, love the song and the images. Can't wait for the new album. Here's the video:



In other music news, Pitchfork is reporting that Bjork has set a release date her new(and untitled) album. 05/05/2007 was the date that appeared on Bjork.com, although it is now replaced with XX/XX/07, but placed between 05/04 and 05/06, which would lead us to believe it'll be released May 5th. Aaaanyways, all that to say that I'm fucking pumped for this new album, the reported collaborations sound sick!

A year ago yesterday marks the day my best friend Mikk decided to take his life. We haven't forgotten you Mikk, we think about you everyday. It still hurts as much. We loved you and will still love you forever. I hope you're looking down on us and smiling. I even dressed up for you yesterday! Hehe.(I looked fabulous btw, I called it "Old Man Chic". Think fur, old shoes and vintage sunglasses, oh yeah.) We laugh for you, we cry for you and we fight for you. You were an inspiration to so much of us, and still are. We hope to make you live on in our daily lives and future projects. You may have only lived 20 years and 20 days, but your influence will still be felt. Be strong, be you, we love you!!

In other news, sorry I haven't been around(not like anybody reads this anyways, LOL). But I'm working on a new and better project. Although I might not link it here... for now, seeing as I don't want to be known as being behind it just yet. It's fashion related, more locally oriented though, and a project with my roommate. Hopefully it goes well, it's going in the right direction. I'm so excited to launch it!!

Alrite, I'm working on it now and can't get distracted. I'm back in school, very busy! Took the last 2 days off though. It's been a tough month. Winter brought back all the nastyness of last year and going through Mikk's death. I talked to his parents, they're so amazing, and they're finding it hard too. They also took the day off. It was really nice talking to them. It just made me realize how much I miss him. Anyways, enough depressing shit. Gotta get back to my oh-so-secret project. XD

Another Year

Confessions of a Shopaholic

Ok, not quite(referring to title). I wish I was shopping for myself! I'm all shopped out. But I still have one gift to buy for my mom, then all done. 3 days of intense shopping. It all started out on Monday. Went to Rockland(suburbs) with my friend Deb and had a very fun day. The mall is so pretty, especially the food court. You can eat by this modern fireplace, and sit in couches. All très chic. And it was my first time at H&M, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. I was kinda psyching myself up to be disapointed, just so I didn't expect too much. But lots of great bargains and pretty clothes. I only bought three items for myself: a zip-up hoodie in black and grey, a new cute wool shirt and a plain scarf. All at great prices. Then I've been shopping downtown for the past two days. I'm all tired out.

Been spending a lot of time with Deb, which I haven't had the chance to do in ages. She moved to the other end of the city this summer, so we've been seeing a lot less of each other. I finally got to see her place and new cat. We chilled, watched a lot of Sex and the City, and caught up. Her cat is so cute, but I'd forgotten how much energy kittens have. My cats are older, lazy and fat. Like, real fat.

Talking about kittens, I was talking to my mom today and they got two new kittens! I'm so excited to see them. My mom was walking the dog when she found them outside, all cold in the snow. She couldn't just leave them! She's always taking in stray animals.

I'm getting excited to go back home. I haven't seen my parents in a while, and my sister in even longer! My friend who moved to France will be there as well. Too many people to see, so little time. But I think I've got my few days all planned out. I'll spend a bit of time with the boyfriend in Ottawa, then the familyin Aylmer until the 26th, then back to the boyfriend's for the night, then back to Aylmer until the 28th to spend time with friends. And back to Montreal by 7pm for work. Whew!

Alright, time for another joint and some Family Guy!
